Over the last five years, we are proud to report that the FPUA has raised over £34,000 for local causes.
As part of the Association’s ethos to give back to the local community, our flagship fundraising events are held annually. These continue to be successful thanks to the generosity and support of the members.

And despite the geopolitical and economic challenges businesses continue to face, we are delighted to have raised a hugely impressive £13,500 in 2022 alone.
A massive thank you to everyone who took part, attended and supported our Golf Day and Charity Christmas Ball. The generosity of our members far exceeded our hopes.
FPUA Christmas Ball

The Christmas Charity Ball is a glittering affair with the deserved reputation of kick-starting the festive celebrations. The black-tie event is one of Felixstowe’s most celebrated charity events attracting a range of guests to enjoy an evening of fine dining, hospitality, and fundraising that can make a difference.
Held at the Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe, A-list entertainment is guaranteed as is the eagerly anticipated charity raffle with a range of ‘must-have’ prizes donated by local businesses.
Another good reason to become part of the Association.
Interested? Members will be invited, by email, to secure their places using the online application form.
To confirm your place/s, a deposit of £35.00 per person is required. Once the applicant has completed the form, we will send them an invoice for the deposit amount, details of the final payment and the Christmas menu for pre-orders.
As a result of our members and their guests’ generosity, the Association has helped many local charities, including St Elizabeth Hospice, the Children’s Hospice, Home Start and Ipswich Hospital Children’s Appeal.

FPUA Charity Golf day
Members and Non-Members
Established in 2019, our Charity Golf Day proved so popular it quickly became a firm date in our fundraising calendar.
Held at the award-winning Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, teams of four can be made up of members and non-members, respectively.
The 2023 Golf Day was successfully held on another sunny and glorious day and raised £10,500 for local causes and charities.
2023’s grateful beneficiaries include Ethan Ridd, Rocco Mickelsen, League of Friends of Felixstowe Community Hospital, Kingsfleet Primary School, and Felixstowe School.

The fifth Charity Golf Day will be on Friday, 10th May 2024, and we will contact members with further details in due course.
