Prettys

Prettys is one of the leading firms in East Anglia. Its Shipping/Transport Department act for local, national and international clients. These consist of owners, NVOCCs, charterers, cargo, freight forwarders and finance providers. Prettys also act for insurers, both institutional and P&I.

The Department's expertise covers the entire range of shipping services from collision, salvage and GA to charterparty and bill of lading issues. Prettys handle litigation (including ship arrest and injunctive relief), arbitration and mediation.

In non-contentious matters, we have advised on contracts of carriage, finance documentation and recently, on the sale of a shipping line in Europe.
