Objectives

The objectives of the FPUA are:

To act as an association for locally based firms and companies operating through or in the Port of Felixstowe
To represent the common interests of its members
To protect and promote their interests and to secure the best possible conditions for them
To liaise with the Port Authority and other government bodies, such as HM Revenue and Customs and the Port Health Authority
To resolve problems of a localised nature quickly and efficiently
To promote the Port, both nationally and internationally
