Annual Charity Ball
Each Christmas the Association holds a dinner dance, or 'annual bash'. The event is always a sell-out with over 160 people in attendance. A raffle held during the evening raises money for charity. The proceeds raised from the annual bash held in December 2008 is to be donated to Felixstowe Port Community Trust Fund.
Felixstowe Seafarers' Centre
The FPUA has been behind the introduction of a voluntary levy charged on ships arriving at the Port of Felixstowe. In common with other ports in Europe, the levy is collected to help fund the Seafarers' Centre.
