Annual Charity Ball
Each Christmas the Association holds a dinner dance, or 'annual bash'. The event is always a sell-out with over 160 people in attendance. A raffle held during the evening raises money for charity. £2,000 raised from the annual bash held in December 2007 was donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Felixstowe Seafarers' Centre
The FPUA has been behind the introduction of a voluntary levy charged on ships arriving at the Port of Felixstowe. In common with other ports in Europe, the levy is collected to help fund the Seafarers' Centre.
